Course Description: While diversity, equity, and inclusion have been a strong focus over recent years, many continue to struggle to develop fully inclusive classrooms and practices. This workshop will provide students with a framework and specific actions they can take to ensure they are implementing fully inclusive and equitable practices in the classroom and in their practice.
Presented by: Natalie Parks, Ph.D., BCBA-D
Natalie Parks is the program director of the Applied Behavior Analysis program at Saint Louis University. She is also the co-owner and CEO of Behavior Leader, Inc., a consulting firm that focuses on assisting organizations in developing inclusive and equitable practices. Dr. Parks has over 23 years of experience in the field and is co-author of three books: Leadership in Behavior Analysis, Feedback F!@#ups and How to Avoid Them, and OBM Entrepreneur. She has also authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters focused on skill acquisition, behavior reduction and addressing systematic racism within organizations. Finally, Dr. Parks is also a managing director of TeamABA, LLC, which uses behavior analysis to improve the performance of athletes and those focused on health and wellness.
