This event is for unlicensed social workers and is not offered for Continuing Education Credit.

Course Description: This is a 1 & a 1/2 day course to help prepare social workers to successfully pass the ASWB LMSW and LCSW exams. The School of Social Work has partnered with LEAP (Licensing Exam Preparation Services, LLC) to provide this course for students, alumni, and other area social workers. The course includes a thorough review of the test areas such as theories, diagnoses using DSM 5, therapy and practice methods, research, cultural competency, micro, mezzo, and macro social work methods. A study book with a practice exam is included with taking the course. In addition the course will include successful test taking strategies.

The course will feature review of materials through interactive methods, games, prizes, and through examining over a 100 practice test questions. A study book with a practice test is provided to attendees.
